I received my Masters Degree in clinical social work from NYU after nearly two decades living as an artist in New York City. Prior to returning to school, I entrenched myself in the stories of others, eager to understand and guided by curiosity and compassion.
Since obtaining my degree, I have had the honor of providing treatment in a variety of systems including the justice system, inpatient healthcare, and community based family work. With my outpatient practice, I am able to offer my skill and diverse history in an intimate setting in which each client's treatment is shaped by their strengths and interests. I gain inspiration from my continued involvement in the arts.
In 2021 I returned to school, enrolling in the University of Pennsylvania's Doctoral of Clincal Social Work Program. My dissertation focuses on separation-individuation, the process and outcome of shifts within a person's identity and within the relatedness and autonomy of a person's relationships with significant others.
